U4GM How to Max XP and Fresh Meat in Diablo 4 Season 12

Early Paragon in Season 12 can feel like you're doing everything "right" and still going nowhere, even if you've got decent Diablo 4 gold tucked away for upgrades. The reason is simple: this season's pace isn't really set by dungeons or boss loops first, it's set by Bloodied progression. Once you stop treating Bloodied as a side system and start building your day around it, the whole grind clicks into place and the levels come way faster.

    Build around Greater Bloodied Caches

The rep track is doing more heavy lifting than most people realise. Those Greater Bloodied Caches aren't just "nice to have" rewards; they're how you snowball. You're fishing for Greater Affix gear and stocking boss summons at the same time, which means fewer dead runs where you finish a session and feel like nothing changed. A lot of players get stuck because they spend hours in content that's technically fine, but doesn't feed the cache loop. Push the rep, open the caches, take the wins, then move on.

Bloodied Infernal Hordes and the Torment trap

Bloodied Infernal Hordes are the XP engine, no question. Pop a Bloodied Compass and you'll start seeing Relentless Butchers crash the party, and that's where the chunky Paragon jumps come from. The mistake is forcing Torment 4 just because you can survive it. On T4, those Butchers can sit around absurd health totals and you end up "working" for XP instead of farming it. Drop to Torment 2 or 3 and watch what happens: the Butchers actually die, your clears speed up, and your XP per hour goes up even if the tooltip numbers look smaller. Speed beats pride every time.

Fresh Meat, Opticide, and a routine that doesn't burn you out

Fresh Meat isn't junk, it's basically your new Obols. Use a Lair Sigil, kill the Bloodied Broiler, then scoop the big post-kill payout and gamble it on weapons and rings only. Don't chase uniques through gambling; you'll just drown in bad overlaps. When masterworking starts yelling for Opticide, run Undercity Tributes of Refinement for quick, targeted hits, and if you've got a group, chain an Infinite Escalation rota so the Strongrooms and sigils keep feeding the loop. My day usually goes 1) Helltides for compasses and keys, 2) Bloodied Hordes for XP, 3) Undercity for mats, 4) Broiler for meat, and if I'm missing a key piece I'll buy diablo 4 season 12 uniques to skip the early RNG spiral.
