Why are my FAB online payments failing but money gets deducted and how can I check my salary balance properly?

    Hi everyone, I’ve been dealing with an issue related to my FAB account and wanted to see if anyone else here has gone through something similar.

    A few times recently when I tried to make online payments, the transaction showed as failed on the website, but the amount still got deducted from my account. In one case the refund came back after some time, but in another it took much longer and I wasn’t sure if I needed to raise a complaint or just wait. It’s confusing because I don’t know if the payment actually went through or not when this happens.

    At the same time, I also have trouble checking my salary balance right after it’s credited. Sometimes the amount shown doesn’t seem updated immediately, and I’m not sure if I should rely on the app or check it another way. I’ve tried refreshing and logging in again but it’s not always consistent.

    I’m just trying to understand what’s the correct way to handle failed payments like this and how to confirm if the money is actually gone or just temporarily on hold. Also, if there is a more reliable way to check the exact salary balance without waiting, that would really help.

     

    If anyone has faced this with FAB and figured out what to do, I’d really appreciate your input.
